About the Advisor

Diane W. Whitney holds a master’s in teaching, and a JD from UConn, completed in 1985. During her 30-year career, much of her experience was gained in private practice, in environmental, land use, and toxic torts. She also served as Assistant Attorney General for Connecticut, focusing on child abuse and educational litigation. She is currently with Pullman & Comley, LCC, chairing the Environmental Department and the Women’s Initiative.

Diane is eager to share her extensive and broad knowledge about the many facets of the U.S. legal system. She promises to be guide for UConn students on the journey toward law school preparation.
