Now is the time to start thinking about internships for next semester. Information about three internships with the State of Connecticut are available at the links below.
You’re not limited to these programs. But they’re a good starting point. If you want to do some other type of internship, that’s great. The key thing is to do something to add to your resume. Internships are hugely important in your law school applications. But they’re even more important in helping you make the decision to apply. Internships can give you a small taste of what it’s like to work as a lawyer. This can change your perspective on law school and the legal profession. It can also help make you realize that this is the right path and get you started on it.
If you can’t do an internship this spring, check out the opportunities anyway. Most also have summer programs.
Good luck!
