Welcome  to the new and improved UConn Pre-Law site!  This site should be the first place you look when you have questions about the law school preparation or application process.  The UConn Pre-Law Center is committed to working with students and alumni who wish to become legal professionals.

Students interested in more information on pre-law services and programs should review the website before scheduling an appointment.

Students should use open office hours if:

  1. This is their first pre-law meeting OR
  2. They have not attended a workshop
  3. They have a quick question

Designed for quick questions or urgent matters. Students seeking general pre-law counseling should attend a workshop before scheduling a 1-1 appointment through AdvApp. All upcoming workshops are listed in the Pre-Law Calendar.

If you are a junior or senior: attend BOTH the “Basics of Law School Applications” AND the “Writing your Personal Statement” workshops.
